On 10. September Schwendt is the first one to perform the transhumance (moving the cows from the summer pastures in the mountains to the lower valley for the winter). Accompanying this long standing tradition is a delicacy festival. Other municipalities will conduct the transhumance on the following weekends. Don't miss this colourful spectacle and take the chance to spend some time in the Kaiserwinkl region!
